Mispronouncing “Corpsman” is just one indication. Anybody who knows anything at all about military engagement knows how important it is to “take the high ground”. It is the side who takes control of the elevated sites who can see and thereby defeat the enemy. Space, in the era of missile and satelite warfare is the ultimate high ground. By the time Obama is done with us will will be the weakest force in the world with no power in the skies.

It isn’t just that she says what Conservatives long to hear- it is that she says what she thinks without putting it through multiple PR filters. Even though that may result in an ocassional media flare-up, it is actually sad how unusual Palin’s frankness is. Most in the public eye are so concerned with the perception of what they say that they end up saying nothing at all. People are elated to have the opportunity to hear someone speak and then to be able to walk away with a complete understanding of what exactly they meant. No one has ever had that reaction to an Obama speech. This may be his undoing and Palin’s strongest play.- sjm

I started listing the lies and the misrepresentations. So many. Suddenly I realized that it was almost a waste of time to discuss them. Why bother? Whatever Obama said that day, he’d probably contradict on any other day. He might reverse or modify any statement- any time- to fit situation and audience. I realized that this man is totally goal-oriented and completely without scrupples in his willingness to say anything to real said goals.

Yet as our country teeters on extinction, Orin Hatch thinks we should waste time and attention on this! I can only think that people who carelessly discarded their babies cannot stand the story of Tebow’s survival. I think there is a lot of guilt at work. These people can’t tolerate anyone or anything that humanizes the little bundles of inconvenience they threw in the waste basket.

I think Scott Roeder shoiuld have gotten the penalty not just for the cold-blooded execution of Dr, Tiller the Baby Killer (must admit he was evil) but also because someone so willing to disregard the law with no remorse such as Roeder is a danger. He won’t get the death penalty though. In Kansas only fetuses get the death sentence.
