It seems so natural. We feel so much better to have someone to blame. It is a tried and true strategy. The communists who took over Russia were extremely successful with it. So was Hitler. Angry fearful people were whipped into a frenzy and then turned against themselves. Class warfare ruled. In both cases, people allowed their own civil and economic rights to be taken to allow for punishment of the wealthy. You’d think Americans would be smarter- but apparently we’re not. If it means that evil big business will suffer, than we’ll allow Democrats in the administration to break laws with punitive taxation, and complete nationalization of a private company. Everyone is so angry they don’t seem to notice that we are supporting sheer totalitarian and Marxists policies. Too bad about the AIG bonuses. But he answer is not allowing the democrats to take over the business. Other businesses will fall like dominoes.
